Chapter 17 is here, but I’ve also been bouncing in my chair all week to tell you about the tweaked format for "The Signal" that will start next week!
I'll be delivering weekly "Signal Boosts" – short, focused story snippets packed with all the snark, sexual tension, and trope-y shenanigans we love.
Think: missing scenes, alternate POVs, character confessions, and more! Things that keep the story moving, but let us have a little more fun. I'm really happy about this fresh approach, and I think you will be too. This format is also much more conducive to reader input and requests. Just sayin’ . . .

"Do you have the valve yet?" Val's bored tone filled the crawlspace.
Sweat trickled down her temple as she stretched her arm as far as it would go into the guts of the ship. "No, it's—ow fuck. 'Arms length' is a shit measure of distance when your limbs are so much longer than mine." She could just brush the grip of the valve with her fingertips.
Val's reply was smug. "Nice of you to notice."
She ignored the purr of his voice through the comm. Just a little . . . further . . . "Got it."
